Prague: Bollani opens the Bohemia Jazz Fest

Neapolitan vibes and music performed by Stefano Bollani opened the Bohemia Jazz Fest 2019 in Prague, one of the most prestigious jazz festivals in Central and Eastern Europe.

The concert "Napoli Trip" was organised in association with the Italian Embassy in Prague and the Italian Institute of Culture, and with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

Bollani, pianist and composer, accompanied by Daniele Sepe on sax, Nico Gori on clarinet and Bernardo Guerra on drums, performed a highly acclaimed jazz session dedicated entirely to Naples, alternating the reinterpretation of the great classics in a jazz key with the performance of original compositions inspired by the rich folk tradition of Neapolitan songs. The Czech Foreign Minister Tomáš Petříček and Health Minister Adam Vojtěch attended the concert at the invitation of the Italian Ambassador to the Czech Republic Francesco Saverio Nisio.
