Minister for Foreign Affairs Franco Frattini is scheduled to meet at the foreign ministry in Rome tomorrow, 29 September 2009, with President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Asif Alì Zardari, who is visiting Italy in the context of a meeting on opportunities for economic and trade collaboration, participants in which will also include Italian Deputy Minister for Economic Development Adolfo Urso and Pakistani Minister of State for Investments Saleem H. Mandviwala.
The meeting’s objective will be to broaden bilateral economic relations and will offer an excellent opportunity for encounter for Italian operators considering investing in sectors such as energy, agriculture and agri-industry, marble and precious stones and textiles.
