On Friday, 5 May 2017, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, the Farnesina will host the Schools for Peace meeting “Protecting our home”, attended by the Deputy Minister for Development Cooperation, Mario Giro.
The Director General for Development Cooperation, Pietro Sebastiani, will open the event, that will feature the works developed by the participating schools on “The 2030 Agenda for sustainable development and encyclical Laudato Si.” The meeting will be chaired by Mr Barbera, Chairman of the CIPSI.
Alternating with the schools’ presentations, several distinguished presenters will deliver their speeches: Jean Fabre - former UNDP Director, Enrico Giovannini - spokesperson for the Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development, Silvia Stilli - AOI spokesperson, Stefania Poietti - Mayor of Assisi, Paola Berbeglia - AOI, Dairou Paul Valery - President of the students of Yaoundé University and Enzo Romeo - Editor-in-Chief for Rai 2.
The Director General for Development Cooperation, Pietro Sebastiani, will conclude the meeting.

Accredited journalists, photographers and TV crews can collect their accreditation badges from the Farnesina, at the main entrance, hand-left side, from 9:15 to 9:45 a.m.
