On Monday 22 January, at 10 a.m., the Farnesina will host an event to present to the public the best opportunities for consumers and businesses, following the completion of the EU-Japan Economic Partnership Agreement.
The event, organised by the Italy-Japan Foundation, will be opened by Undesecretary of State Benedetto Della Vedova and will be divided into four thematic sessions: luxury and automotive; pharmaceuticals; agrifood; and public procurement and services.
The deputy negotiator-in-chief of the EU-Japan Agreement, Marco Chirullo, will address the attendees, to be followed by the Ambassadors of Italy and Japan, Giorgio Starace and Keiichi Katakami, the director general for internationalisation, Massimo Gaiani, the president of ICE, Michele Scannavini, the director of Milan's Jetro, Hiroto Kobayashi, the president of the Italy-Japan Business Group, Mauro Moratti, and the president of the Italy-Japan Foundation, Umberto Vattani.
