PRESS ACCREDITATION NOTICE - Closing Round Table of the 30th edition of the International Villa Mondragone Economic Seminar (Farnesina, 27 June)

On Wednesday, 27 June 2018 from 9:00 a.m.  to 1:00 p.m. the Farnesina will host the closing round table of the 30th edition of the event “Villa Mondragone International Economic Seminar”, entitled “Yearning for Inclusive Growth and Development, Good Jobs and Sustainability”, co-organised by the Fondazione Economia of the Rome University “Tor Vergata” and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI).

The Seminar is an international event on the development of economic policies for growth, launched in 1988 by Prof. Luigi Paganetto, President of the Fondazione Economia Tor Vergata.

The Seminar will open with remarks by Elisabetta Belloni, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and by Luigi Paganetto.

The introductory statements will be followed by a session dedicated to inclusive and sustainable development, with contributions by Carlo Cottarelli (Observatory on Italy’s Public Finances, Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, Milan), Dominick Salvatore (Fordham University) and Jean Paul Fitoussi (Sciences Po).

The closing session will instead by dedicated to Europe and Sustainable Development in the Mediterranean, a topic that will be debated by Hassan Abouyoub (Ambassador of Morocco), Adriano Giannola (SVIMEZ) and Pasquale Lucio Scandizzo (University of Rome "Tor Vergata").

Journalists, photographers and TV crews interested in following the event are requested to apply for accreditation by sending an email to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation’s Institutional Press and Communication Service at the following address: accreditamentostampa@esteri.it (Tel. + 39 06/3691.3432 or 8573 or 8210), attaching thereto the letter of his/her media organisation (or press card for freelance reporters) and, for members of the foreign press, a Note Verbale released by the Rome Embassy of the media organisation’s Country.

Accredited journalists, photographers and TV crews may collect their accreditation badges in person from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, main entrance – left-hand side – from 8:30 to 9:00 a.m.
