On Tuesday 29 January, at 9:00 a.m., the Farnesina will host the conference “Shaping the EU’s future through differentiated integration”.
The event will open with remarks by the Secretary General of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Elisabetta Belloni, followed by Nathalie Tocci, Director of the Institute for International Affairs (IAI) and Nicoletta Pirozzi, head of the programme "EU, Politics and Institutions” and coordinator of the IAI's " EU IDEA" programme.
The conference includes two thematic panels entitled “The concept of differentiated integration: history, vision and narratives” and “The policies of differentiated integration: security, migration and economic governance”.
Armando Barucco, Head of the Analysis, Programming, Statistical and Historic Documentation Unit of the Foreign Ministry, and Ferdinando Nelli Feroci, President of the International Affairs Institute, will deliver the concluding remarks. The conference, whose programme is attached herewith, will be open to the media and is scheduled to close at 1:00 p.m.
