Press accreditation note - Presentation of the first Guide-book to Italian Roots (Farnesina, 25 September 2019)

The first Guide-book to Italian Roots will be presented at an event at the Farnesina on Wednesday 25 September 2019, at 4.00 pm.

In this first edition, the Guide-book - created by the Directorate General for Italians Abroad and Migration Policies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in collaboration with the Italian Raiz Association - is dedicated to four regions of our Country (Abruzzi, Basilicata, Emilia Romagna and Apulia). It provides Italian descendants and the new generations of Italians abroad, with information about a series of tourist itineraries aimed at enticing them to find out more about their places of origin. The guide-book is available in three different languages - Italian / English, Italian / Spanish, and Italian / Portuguese.

The event, open to the press, will be attended by Luigi Maria Vignali, Director General for Italians Abroad, Giovanni Bastianelli, Executive Director of ENIT, and the Representatives of the Tourism Department of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, of the Emilia Romagna and Apulia Regions and of the Italian Raiz Association.

Journalists, photographers and TV crews interested in attending the event can apply for accreditation in one of the following ways:
• ONLINE at the link https://portaleaccreditazione.esteri.it, to which the required digital documentation is to be attached (letter of the media organisation they belong to; representatives of the foreign press must also submit a Nota Verbale released by the Rome Embassy of the media organisation's Country)
• VIA E-MAIL at accreditamentostampa@esteri.it, (tel. 06 / 3691.3432– 06 / 3691.8573) attaching the aforementioned documentation.

Accredited press representatives will have access to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from the left-hand side of the main entrance from 15.30 hours to 16.00 hours
