On Monday, December 16, 2019, at 4:00 p.m., the Farnesina will host the “Celebration of the International Human Rughts Day”, promoted by the Inter-Ministerial Committee for Human Rights (CIDU), in cooperation with the University Centre for Human Rights “Antonio Papisca” and the UNESCO Chair on Human Rights, Democracy and Peace of the Padua University.
The ceremony will be opened by the President of the Inter-Ministerial Committee for Human Rights (CIDU), Fabrizio Petri, followed by the opening statement of the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Emanuela Claudia Del Re, on Human Rights, Roles and Responsibilities of Individuals and States.
During the celebration the “2019 Italian Human Rights Yearbook” will be presented.
The event will be fully open to the press and will end at 6:00 p.m.
