On Monday 22 June, at 11:00 a.m., the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Luigi Di Maio will meet the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany Heiko Maas, at Villa Madama.
At the end of the meeting, the two Minister will held a joint press point.
In accordance with the current legislation on social distancing, a limited number of press representatives will have access to Villa Madama. Therefore, only one journalist per newspaper/agency and one film operator per TV broadcasting station can request for accreditation. The first accreditation requests received in order of time will be accepted.
A limited number of TV operators will be given the opportunity to film the joint press point, in compliance with the social distancing.
Journalists and TV operators interested in attending the joint press point are kindly requested to apply for accreditation by 1:00 p.m. on Saturday 20 June, as follows:
- VIA E-MAIL to the address firstname.lastname@example.org, (tel. 06/3691.3432 - 06/3691.8573), attaching the required digital documentation (letter by the media organisation to which the reporter belongs and, in the case of representatives of foreign-based media organisations, also a Nota Verbale issued by the Embassy in Rome of the relevant country);
Accreditation cards must be collected in person at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, rear entrance in Via Macchia della Farnesina, from 09:30 a.m. by 10:00 a.m., after checking body temperature and wearing a mask and other personal protective equipment recommended by current regulations.
Since it is not possible to reach Villa Madama by their own means, once accredited, journalists will be accompanied to Villa Madama by a shuttle service from Via Macchia della Farnesina (round trip), operating until the end of the event.
