ACCREDITATION NOTICE - G20 WORKSHOP Silver Economy and Active Ageing (Farnesina, 24 June 2015)

On Wednesday 24 June at 9:00 the Farnesina will host the G20 Workshop – Silver Economy and Active Ageing, promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Ministry of Labour and Social Policies.

Speakers will include Under-Secretary for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Benedetto Della Vedova, Under-Secretary to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers Claudio De Vincenti, Under-Secretary to the Ministry of Labour and Social Policies Luigi Bobba, Deputy Under-Secretary to the Ministry of Labour and Social Security of Turkey and President of the G20 Work Group on Labour and Employment Erhan Batur.  

The Director General for Global Affairs of the Farnesina, Luigi Marras, will act as moderater.

The Workshop will offer an occasion for Director for Employment, Labour and Social Affairs of the OECD Stefano Scarpetta to present the paper “Silver Economy and Ageing Society: an opportunity for Growth and Job Creation in the G20 countries”.

Journalists, photographers and TV crews interested in following the Workhop’s initial session  (9:00-10:00) should:

- complete the interactive form available at http://mae.accreditationsystem.info/ITA/Indice.asp

- attach all required documentation (if not already submitted) to the form, in digital format

Required digital documentation:

-       a letter from your media organisation

-      for foreign journalists in Italy: a note verbale issued by the Embassy in Rome of your media organisation’s country.

Accredited journalists, photographers and TV crews will be admitted at the main entrance to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (left-hand side) between 8:15 and 8:45.
