From Wednesday 22 to Friday 24 November, 2017, the Farnesina will host the Plenary Assembly of the General Council of Italians Abroad (CGIE) at the International Conference Hall.
At 10:00 a.m. on Thursday 23 November, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Angelino Alfano, will address the participants. The Government’s report, including an update on policies concerning Italians living abroad, will be presented after the Minister's speech.
The works of the Plenary Assembly will be open to the press.
Journalists, photographers and TV crews interested in following the event are requested to apply for accreditation in one of the following ways:
- by filling the interactive form at the link http://mae.accreditationsystem.info/ITA/Indice.asp, attaching thereto, unless already provided, the information requested in digital format (letter from the media organisation and, for representatives of foreign media, also a Note Verbale released by the Rome Embassy of the media organisation’s Country).
- by sending an email to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation’s Institutional Press and Communication Service at the following address: firstname.lastname@example.org (Tel. + 39 06/3691.3432 or 8573 or 8210), attaching thereto the letter of his/her media organisation (or press card) and, for members of the foreign press, a Note Verbale released by the Rome Embassy of the media organisation’s Country.
Accredited journalists, photographers and TV crews can collect their accreditation badges in person at the main entrance of the Ministry, right hand-side, at the following times:
22 November - from 9:00 a.m. to 9:20 a.m.
23 November - from 8:30 a.m. to 8:50 a.m.
24 November - from 8:30 a.m. to 8:50 a.m.
