The 10th edition of the MED Mediterranean Dialogues Conference takes place from 25 to 27 November 2024 at the Rome Cavalieri – Waldorf Astoria Hotel (Via Cadlolo 101) in Rome.
The conference – promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Institute for International Policy Studies (ISPI) – officially opened on Monday 25 November with a speech by Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Antonio Tajani and ISPI President Franco Bruni. Deputy Prime Minister Tajani will also speak at the closing ceremony on 27 November at 12:30 p.m.
The Mediterranean Dialogues are the main public diplomacy initiative of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Launched ten years ago by ISPI and the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Rome MED has become the point of reference for discussing the strategic issues of the enlarged Mediterranean and fostering an open, informal high-level debate with institutional representatives, experts, analysts, young people, and representatives of civil society, the economy and the media.
