PRESS ACCREDITATION NOTE
Joint Press Point of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani, with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Palestinian Authority, Varsen Aghabekian
(Gemelli Hospital, 1 September 2025 – approx. 5:30 p.m.)
On Monday, 1 September 2025, at 3:00 p.m., the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani, will meet at the Farnesina with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Palestinian Authority, Varsen Aghabekian.
Subsequently, the two Ministers will visit the Bambino Gesù Paediatric Hospital in Rome (at approximately 4:00 p.m.) for meetings with the hospital management and to visit Palestinian children undergoing treatment, followed by a visit to the Agostino Gemelli University Hospital (at 5:15 p.m.) for further meetings.
At the conclusion of the visit to Gemelli Hospital, the two Ministers will issue statements to the press in the hospital courtyard.
Journalists, photographers and cameramen interested in covering the event can apply for accreditation by no later than 6:00 p.m. on Friday, 29 August, by e-mail to accreditamentostampa@esteri.it (tel. 06 3691 3432 –3078, 8210 or 8573), as follows:
For representatives of the Italian press organisations:
- a copy of the identity document;
- a letter of assignment from the newspaper of affiliation or – in the absence of the latter -, a copy of professional identity card.
For representatives of foreign press organisations not accredited at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs:
- a copy of the identity document;
- letter from the newspaper of affiliation;
- Verbal note of the Embassy in Rome of the country of the press organisation represented.
For representatives of foreign press already accredited at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the request must be sent with a copy of an identity document attached.
Accredited journalists, photographers and cameramen are requested to arrive by 5:00 p.m. at:
- Agostino Gemelli University Hospital, Largo Agostino Gemelli 8 (Rome).
