10th WEEK of ITALIAN CUISINE IN THE WORLD

On Friday, 28 November 2025, at 5:00 p.m., the 10th Week of Italian Cuisine in the World will be presented at Villa Madama, moderated by journalist Giovanna Pancheri.

The Conference will open with a speech by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani, followed by a video message from the Minister of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry, Francesco Lollobrigida.

After the institutional presentations, a segment of the event will focus on the opportunities and challenges of the agri-food and wine supply chain, with Minister Tajani participating in a discussion with some of the sector’s key representatives: Luigi Scordamaglia, CEO of Filiera Italia; Paolo Mascarino, President of Federalimentare; Lucia Forte, CEO of Oropan; Luca Brondelli di Brondello, Vice President of Confagricoltura; Marzia Varvaglione, Vice President of the Italian Wine Union; Matteo Zoppas, President of the Italian Trade Agency (TBC); Vincenzo Celeste, Permanent Representative to the European Union (via video link).

The second segment of the event will feature a debate on the dimension of food as an element of culture, sharing, and dialogue. Besides Minister Tajani, the panel will include Bruno Archi, Permanent Representative of Italy to the United Nations in Rome; Maddalena Fossati, President of the Committee for the Promotion of Italian Cuisine as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage; Salvatore Bruno, Secretary General of the Italian Chefs Federation; and Alberto Figna, President of ALMA.

Journalists, photographers and cameramen wishing to cover the event may request accreditation by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, 27 November, by registering at https://portaleaccreditamento.esteri.it and uploading the required documents.

Those already registered on the online Portal, who have received confirmation from the system, may access their profile and select participation in the event.

Badges shall be collected in person at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, main entrance (left-hand side), on Friday, 28 November, between 3:45 p.m. and 4:15 p.m.

As it is not possible to reach Villa Madama with private vehicles, accredited journalists will be transported to Villa Madama via a shuttle service operating from the main entrance of the Foreign Ministry (round trip), available until the conclusion of the event.
