Vilnius, Italian–Lithuanian Year of Culture: Principal Dancers of Teatro alla Scala at the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre

Prima Ballerina Étoile Nicoletta Manni and Principal Dancer Timofej Andrijashenko of Teatro alla Scala in Milan performed to great critical acclaim as part of the celebrations marking the 100^th anniversary of ballet in Lithuania, organised by the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre (LNOBT). The distinguished Lithuanian audience was able to appreciate their exceptional artistry in the pas de deux from Carmen (choreography by Roland Petit, music by Georges Bizet) and Caravaggio (choreography by Mauro Bigonzetti, music by Bruno Moretti based on works by Claudio Monteverdi). The participation of the two stars of Teatro alla Scala stems from the intense and fruitful cooperation between the Embassy of Italy in Vilnius, the Italian Cultural Institute of Vilnius and the prestigious LNOBT, within the framework of the Italian–Lithuanian Year of Culture 2025–2026.
