Minister for Foreign Affairs Emma Bonino is in Strasbourg today for a meeting of the Council of Europe Ministers Committee, a meeting dedicated to the reforms the organization must undertake in order to strengthen its efforts in defence of democracy, human rights and the rule of law in its 47 Member countries.
After her address, the minister is to meet with Council of Europe Secretary General Thorbjorn Jagland, Deputy Secretary Gabriella Battaini Dragoni of Italy, and President of the Parliamentary Assembly Jean Claude Mignon.
