PRESS ACCREDITATION NOTE

16th MAECI – Bank of Italy Conference

with Delegates and Financial Attachés accredited abroad

(Farnesina – International Conference Hall, 2 April 2026)

On Thursday 2 April, the Farnesina will host the 16th edition of the annual MAECI – Bank of Italy Conference, entitled “A turbulent world: political crises, trade tensions and economic and financial shocks. What strategies for the development of exports and Italy’s economic security?”, with the participation of Delegates and Financial Attachés accredited abroad.

The Conference will begin at 9:30 a.m. with opening remarks by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani, and the Governor of the Bank of Italy, Fabio Panetta. The proceedings will then continue behind closed doors.

Only the opening session, including the welcoming remarks, will therefore be open to the press. Journalists, photographers and cameramen wishing to attend may apply for accreditation by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday 1 April. Registration must be completed through the press accreditation portal attaching the required documentation. Those who are already registered and have received confirmation of their registration may access their profile and select participation in the event.

Accredited journalists, photographers and cameramen may enter the Farnesina via the rear entrance on Via Macchia della Farnesina (press entrance) between 8:45 a.m. and 9:15 a.m.
