The Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ambassador Riccardo Guariglia, and the Director General of the Department of Intelligence for Security, Prefect Vittorio Rizzi, signed a Procedural Agreement on international agreements and arrangements regarding classified information today at the Foreign Ministry.
The Agreement is part of the long-standing collaboration between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) and the Department of Intelligence for Security (DIS), defining the ways for collaboration to speed up, coordinate, and standardize the process of drafting General Security Agreements, an essential tool for exchanging classified information with States and international organizations.
