Minister of Foreign Affairs Antonio Tajani and Undersecretary Massimo Dell’Utri are taking part in the Second National Defence Conference, ‘The Arctic and Antarctic: ‘Sistema Paese’ in the international arena and the new challenges of global competition’, organised by the Undersecretary of State for Defence.
The conference, which is being held at the Centre for Higher Defence Studies (Centro Alti Studi Difesa) in Rome, aims to explore the strategic importance of the polar regions, with a particular focus on geopolitical implications, security and defence, climate change, scientific cooperation and economic development.
