ACCREDITATION NOTICE – Presentation of new institutional websites “Viaggiare Sicuri” e “Dove Siamo nel Mondo” (Farnesina, 22 July)

Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Paolo Gentiloni will introduce the Farnesina Crisis Unit’s new institutional websites “Viaggiare Sicuri” and “Dove Siamo nel Mondo” at 11:00 on Wednesday 22 July 2015 in the Crisis Unit’s Operations Room.

The new “Viaggiare Sicuri” (Safe Travelling) site has undergone a full graphic and content overhaul in order to facilitate user consultation and the immediate usability of the information.

The new “Dove Siamo nel Mondo” (Where we are in the World) site offers Italian nationals the possibility of registering their whereabouts abroad, and is intended to offer an updated picture of the geographic location and professional profile of Italians in countries considered most at risk.

During the event, a new institutional promotional spot, created with the collaboration of the Department for Information and Publishing of the Office of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, with Alberto Angela offering the testimonial, will also be presented.

           Online accreditation system. Journalists, photographers and TV crews interested in following the event should:

– complete the interactive form available at http://mae.accreditationsystem.info/ITA/Indice.asp” href=”http://mae.accreditationsystem.info/ITA/Indice.asp”>http://mae.accreditationsystem.info/ITA/Indice.asp

– attach all required documentation (if not already submitted) to the form, in digital format

Required documentation:

– a letter from your media organisation

– for foreign journalists in Italy: a note verbale issued by the Embassy in Rome of your media organisation’s country.

If you are unable to complete the online accreditation procedure, please send your application by fax, on your media organisation’s letterhead, to the Foreign Ministry’s Press and Institutional Communication Service (tel. 06/3691.3432-8573-8210).

Accredited members of the press will be admitted at the main entrance to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (right side) at 10:30.
