A reminder that an international conference on “Montessori Today: global outlook and intercultural aspects” will take place at the Foreign Ministry in Rome on 24 February 2012.
The Conference will be opened at 09.30 by Foreign Minister Giulio Terzi. Also taking part will be the Minister for Employment and Social Policies, Elsa Fornero, and the Under-Secretary for Education, Universities and Research, Marco Rossi Doria.
Speakers include Clara Tornar, from Università Roma Tre, Gudula Meisterjahn-Knebel, President of the Montessori-Europe Association, and Eva-Maria Ahlquist, form the University of Stockholm. The event will end at around 13.00.
The Conference is being promoted by the National Association of Non-State Education Institutions (ANINSEI), part of Confindustria, with the collaboration of Roma Tre University and the Seraphicum Educational Complex.

Accredited journalists/photographers should enter the foreign ministry by the main entrance (left-hand side) which will be open from 09.00 onwards.
