The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Enzo Moavero Milanesi, made the following statement: “We are closely following the development of events in Venezuela in coordination with the Embassy in Caracas, which continues to be operational. We share the Venezuelan people’s rightful democratic aspirations, are against dictatorships and reaffirm our appeal for new presidential elections, totally free and legitimated by the International Community.”
