Minister Moavero Milanesi is following the tragic wildfire emergency in Greece with great concern through the Crisis Unit and the Italian embassy in Athens. The head of Italian diplomacy also offered Italy’s support to the Greek government and his deep condolences to the victims’ families. There will be strong Italian support in response to Athens’ request for cooperation within the EU to deal with this emergency.
