2nd stage of ‘Destination Export’: the regional roadshow – dedicated here to the North-East – on a journey of discovery of the opportunities offered by the export.gov.it portal set up by the Foreign Ministry, ICE, SACE and SIMEST agencies, in partnership with the Committee of Regions and Unioncamere

A series of 4 virtual meetings dedicated to companies wishing to learn more about the tools and strategies to support exports, brought together within the Export.gov.it portal as a one-stop-shop.

Rome, 20 October 2021 – The first regional roadshow called “Destination Export”, sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and implemented by the ICE, SACE and SIMEST agencies continues, in partnership with the Committee of Regions and Autonomous Provinces and Unioncamere. Following up on the first event, held on 27 September, focusing on the south of Italy and the islands, the second of the four planned virtual stages is dedicated to the north-east and an exploration of the tools and measures required to support exports, made available by the country’s economic and business system and brought together in the public Export.gov.it portal, a unique tool developed at the instigation of Foreign Ministry within the framework of the strategies designed by the Steering Committee for internationalisation.

The stages, divided into regional areas, will be live streamed and will aim to “guide” SMEs along 7 fundamental steps for the purpose of initiating and consolidating their presence abroad. The Roadshow has therefore been designed both for businesses intending to approach foreign markets and those that already operate abroad but wish to further boost their business: preparing for export; identifying target countries; planning market entry; promoting and digitising business operations; negotiating commercial contracts; managing risks and liquidity; improving growth.

The speakers at the second stage, at 11:00, will be Luigi Di Maio, Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation; Massimiliano Fedriga, President of the Committee of Regions and Autonomous Provinces; Carlo Ferro, President of ICE Agency; Pierfrancesco Latini, Managing Director of SACE; Mauro Alfonso, Managing Director of SIMEST.
