UK – Science and Uni cooperation grows

Italian ambassador to the London Pasquale Terracciano was at the University of Cambridge for a series of meetings focused on boosting Italian studies at that British university complex, later visiting the Fitzwilliam Museum, where two bronze statues on loan to the museum were recently attributed to Michelangelo. The ambassador then went on to the Language Department, where he met with Italian academics, students and researchers in Italian and interdisciplinary studies concerning Italy, who explained their work to him, and where he also attended an Italian language class for beginner level students. The visit was part of a series of initiatives in support of Italian studies and research at UK universities. Read more, in Italian.
