The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Luigi Di Maio, participated in the Dialogue on Sustainable Food Systems promoted by B20, FAO and the Italian G20 Presidency. During the meeting, Italy’s position on promoting the Mediterranean diet as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage was highlighted. Food security will in fact be at the heart of the forthcoming G20 Foreign and Development Ministerial Meeting.
