On 12 October at Palazzo Borromeo in Rome, the Ambassador of Italy to the Holy See, Pietro Sebastiani, introduced the presentation of the EISA 2022 Study Seminars and the Preliminary Forums.
For more than twenty years EISA (the European International Studies Association) has been training Italian graduates and university students for diplomatic and international careers. It also organises international university cooperation programmes in favour of peace and dialogue in crisis areas.

The scientific coordinators of the Study Seminars, including Ambassador Gianfranco Varvesi and Ambassador Adriano Benedetti, gave the session on in-depth thematic studies. Antonio Macchia, Vice President of the EISA, described the Preliminary Forums.
Remotely connected were Major General Stefano Del Col, UNIFIL Head of Mission and Force Commander; Ambassador Maurizio Massari, Permanent Representative of Italy to the United Nations; and Major General Franco Federici, Commander of the NATO mission in Kosovo
