The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs was informed by the Ukraine authorities of the killing of Italian journalist Andrea Rochelli in the area of Sloviansk. Definitive identification is still awaited of the body, which was transferred along with that of a Russian citizen from the hospital in Andreevka to that of Slaviansk a few kilometres away.
The family of the young reporter was in contact with the Farnesina in recent hours and with the Embassy in Kiev, which will assist them upon their arrival today in the Ukraine capital.
