The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) issued a majority decision to include the Republic of Kosovo as member. Italy received the news with satisfaction, having worked actively toward this result, which represents a further development in support for the stability of Kosovo and the socio-economic growth of the people of Kosovo. Its EBRD membership is a further step forward in Kosovo’s integration into Europe and international organisations, as well as toward regional cooperation and reconciliation.
This membership will make it possible to fund cooperation projects capable of offering new opportunities for development to the citizens of Kosovo, and the country’s relations with neighbouring nations will be further facilitated and encouraged, contributing to the increased growth and stability of the entire region.
