On Friday, 22 July 2022, from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM, the Nola Interporto Congress Centre will host the event titled “A Pact for Export at the service of the Regions: the challenge of internationalization in the new crisis scenarios”, with the attendance of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI), Luigi Di Maio.
The event, co-organised with the Nola Business Park CIS-Interporto Campano, will offer the opportunity to illustrate the support measures adopted by the Farnesina within the framework of the Pact for Export, in the light of the new post-pandemic scenario and of the instability caused on international markets by the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. The meeting will also offer a new overview of the internationalization support instruments and the initiatives adopted by the MAECI, ICE Agency, SACE, and SIMEST in a wide-reaching promotion effort at the service of the Italian regions.
Following the greetings from local and regional officials, the meeting will open with a presentation by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Luigi Di Maio, on the new prospects of the Pact for Export, which aim to bolster cooperation with regional institutions, associations, and businesses.
The session will follow with two Round Tables, respectively moderated by the Director General for Cultural and Economic Promotion and Innovation, Lorenzo Angeloni and by the Undersecretary of State for Foreign Affairs with Authority for Internationalisation, Manlio Di Stefano, and with the participation of the Vice President of Confindustria, Barbara Beltrame Giacomello, the CEO of SACE, Alessandra Ricci, the CEO of SIMEST, Regina Corradini D’Arienzo, the President of ICE, Carlo Ferro, the columnist of “Il Mattino”, Nando Santonastaso, and a testimonial from a Campania-based corporation.
The panels will be followed by contributions from the leading local trade and professional associations (Unioncamere Campania, Confindustria Campania, Confapi Campania, CNA Campania, Confcommercio, Confimprese Italia Campania, and Confimi Industria Campania). The event will close with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on coordinating actions aimed at the global promotion and internationalization of the Industrial Consortia of the Campania Region, at the presence of the presidents of the signatory ASIs (agencies for the Areas of Industrial Development) of Naples, Salerno, Caserta, Avellino, and Benevento.
The closing remarks will be delivered by the Governor of the Campania Region, Vincenzo De Luca, and by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Luigi Di Maio.
