Ambassador Pasquale Ferrara, Director-General of Political Affairs and Security at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, was on a mission in Sarajevo from 14 to 16 September for consultations with his counterparts of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Ambassador Ferrara met with the Acting Assistant Minister for Multilateral Affairs with the European Union, Šejla Đurbuzović, and other interlocutors representing the United Nations and European institutions.
The meetings focused on the future of the EUFOR Althea mission and on relations with NATO, on the path to EU membership and on the major regional dossiers. Ambassador Ferrara also met with scholars and operators involved in reconciliation processes in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
