To celebrate the Heritage Day organised by the city of Brussels, the Residence of the Italian Ambassador to Belgium opened its doors to visitors.
The “Open Doors” initiative enabled visitors to take a closer look at the Embassy’s activities and services (political, economic, commercial, consular, and cultural) as well as the history of the Residence.
The event also offered the opportunity to present the technological, art and design projects currently underway at the Residence of the Italian Ambassador in Brussels: the “Italian Garden” project by architect Stefano Boeri and the “Italian Gallery in Belgium” project which, through artwork on loan from Belgian art galleries, made it possible to set up an exhibit at the Residence of important works of contemporary art by Italian artists in addition to the Ferrari Formula 1 racing car of 2003 which was brought from Maranello to the Embassy to be displayed for the first time at a promotional event hosted at the Residence during the Spa Formula 1 Grand Prix.
