    Romania – Art treasures returned to Italy

    Another happy ending in the retrieval of stolen Italian artworks: the Romanian authorities handed over 22 paintings and 18 books to the Carabinieri specialised art-retrieval corps, which had probably been stolen from churches many years earlier.
