A new appointment with #ItalyRestArt, the cultural and scientific promotion exhibition created entirely online by the Italian Embassy in London to build a bridge between pre- and post-pandemic. The webinar Covid-19: effectiveness of pandemic mitigation and future scenarios will start tonight at 6pm, London time.
Speakers will be Ranieri Guerra, Assistant Director of the World Health Organization (Geneva) and Silvio Brusaferro, President of the Higher Institute of Health (Istituto Superiore di Sanità) (Rome). The Ambassador of Italy in the United Kingdom Raffaele Trombetta will open the event.
The discussion will focus on the contribution of science and technology in facing the pandemic. During the webinar, moderated by Luisa Tondelli, Scientific Attaché of the Embassy, and Kito Fusai, President of the Italian Medical Society of Great Britain (IMSoGB), the strategies adopted for the epidemic management, both at the international and national level will be presented and prospects highlighted.
