Today at 5 p.m. in London (6 p.m. in Rome) will take place the second online appointment of the “Science for Society” meetings, organized by the Scientific Office of the Italian Embassy in London, within the framework of the #ItalyRestart.
During the webinar “Covid19 – Searching for effective therapies: where are we?” will shed light on the effectiveness of the therapies currently available internationally for the treatment of Covid-19 infection, the clinical trials underway worldwide and possible future scenarios together with two authoritative experts: Guido Rasi, Executive Director of the European Medicines Agency (EMA, Amsterdam) and Sergio Bonini, Associate Professor at the Institute of Translational Pharmacology (CNR-Ift, Rome) and member of the Scientific Council of the Embassy of London.
The meeting, which will be held in English, will be opened by a speech by the Italian Ambassador to the United Kingdom Raffaele Trombetta, and will be moderated by Luisa Tondelli, CNR researcher and scientific attaché at the Embassy, and Kito Fusai, President of the Italian Medical Society of Great Britain (IMSoGB).
