Addis Ababa – Agreement with Italian firm for viewing Series A in Ethiopia

As a result of an agreement between the Ethiopian Broadcasting Corporation (EBC) and TVN Media Group of Milan, the Series A matches of the Italian soccer championship will be available for the viewing pleasure of the 90 million inhabitants of Ethiopia, a country with strong historic ties with Italy. Dei – Norway: Prysmian awarded contract for Uk-Norway electrical trunkline

Cable manufacturer Prysmian was awarded a 550 million EUR contract for the construction of two-thirds of an undersea electrical trunkline connecting the UK and Norway. The cable will be the world’s longest at an overall 730 kilometres, and is slated for completion in 2021. Commissioning the work are Norway’s Statnett and Britain’s National Grid.
