Italy-United Arab Emirates Business Forum
Hotel Parco dei Principi (24 February 2025)
On Monday, 24 February 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to approximately 3:00 p.m., the Italy-United Arab Emirates Business Forum will be held at the Hotel Parco dei Principi. The event is organised by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, in collaboration with the UAE Ministries of Economy and Foreign Affairs, with the support of ITA, CDP, and SACE.
The event, which will be fully open to the press, will be introduced by the Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani, and the UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade, Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi. The Italian Minister of Enterprises and Made in Italy, Adolfo Urso, will also participate in the event.
The closing session will be attended by the Italian Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni.
The forum, structured into sectoral roundtables, will bring together numerous business leaders, representatives from major financial institutions, and trade associations from both countries. Around 100 Italian and Emirati companies are expected to participate, and a series of commercial agreements and understandings will be presented at the end of the discussions.
A press briefing with Minister Tajani is scheduled for 8:40 a.m.
Journalists, photographers and cameramen interested in attending the event can apply for accreditation by no later than 4:00 p.m. on Friday, 21 February, by e-mail to accreditamentostampa@esteri.it (tel. 06 3691 3432 3078 8210 or 8573), as follows:
For representatives of the Italian press organisations:
- a copy of the identity document;
- a letter of assignment from the newspaper of affiliation or – in the absence of the latter – a copy of professional identity card.
For representatives of foreign press organisations not accredited at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs:
- a copy of the identity document;
- letter from the newspaper of affiliation;
- Verbal note of the Embassy in Rome of the country of the press organisation represented.
For representatives of foreign press already accredited at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the request must be sent with a copy of an identity document attached.
Accredited journalists, photographers and cameramen may collect their badges at the reception of the Hotel Parco dei Principi between 8:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.
Submitting the above-mentioned personal data means authorising the use thereof in accordance with Italian Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 2003 and the GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679) by the Directorate General for Public and Cultural Diplomacy of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the data controller, for strictly professional purposes and/or purposes related to the performance of the event in question.
