Longitude: ”China’s shadowy moves”

“China’s shadowy moves” is the title of the new issue of “Longitude”, the geopolitical magazine directed by Pialuisa Bianco on newsstands as of 4 February, in which a series of articles reflect on China’s economic growth and strategic “offensive” for future development and change. Other feature articles examine the global financial system and its ethics; the international health and political consequences of the ban on a polio vaccine in a series of countries; and the risks and returns on the situation in Iraq. Bianco’s editorial examines the similarities and differences between the current global situation and that of a century ago, even in terms of how we understand the term globalisation. In an interview, foreign minister of Mexico Jose’ Antonio Meade explains how reforms and diplomacy have changed the country’s economic and political face. Additional coverage deals with the crisis in Hollande’s France and the dramatic situation of Christians in Africa. Read more, in Italian
