Until 18 September 2025, Athens will host a new international edition of ‘Shades of Dolce Vita’ at the Italian Cultural Institute, a collective photo exhibition celebrating Italian creativity in its most authentic expressions.
The initiative is promoted by Le Vie delle Foto, in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute in Athens, and represents a symbolic bridge between Italy and Greece, two countries united by deep Mediterranean cultural roots. The event is hosted in the prestigious premises of the Institute, a symbol of the dissemination of Italian culture in Greece.
The official opening was held on 29 August 2025. The protagonists of the exhibition are the Italian photographers selected by Le Vie delle Foto, an internationally renowned collective from Trieste that present their works inspired by the theme “La Dolce Vita”: a tribute to the beauty, style and identity of our country.
The photographers exhibiting their works are the following: Alessandro Ledda, Andrei Vukolov, Arianna Favaretto, Athanasios Fitsios, Bettina Todisco, Carla Marina Lendaro, Corinna Ljubisich, Dino Cappelletti, Emanuela Dossi, Enrica Puddu, Enrico Panusca, Gabriele Papa, Giulia Crosilla, Laura Beghin, Lisa Dakkar, Lorenzo Parenzan, Marco Morellato, Mario Coppola, Martino Lallai, Monica Spinazzè, Nicola Fantin, Paola Lunghini, Riccardo Cettolin, Rocco Scattino, Sara Perosa, Silvia Nogara, Stefania Marcotti, Teresa Riccobene.
The photo section is accompanied by paintings by artists from Gabriella Machne’s Atelier ’53 Amèbe. The exhibiting artists are the following: Miriana Bertocchi, Sara Boschetti, Gabriela Basulado, Carla Fiocchi, Barbara Mapelli, Gabriella Machne, Maria Saule, Valnea Siega Vigniut, and Bruna Zazinovich.
The exhibition opened its first stage at the Italian Community of Koper (Slovenia), and is set to continue in Rijeka (Croatia) in November, thus strengthening its role as a travelling project enhancing Italian artistic and cultural identity around the world.
