Export Plan EUR 161 million approved to support the internationalisation of 361 Italian enterprises. Export contracts worth over EUR 1 billion supported

The Facilitation Committee, chaired by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has approved 378 subsidised loans managed by SIMEST, totalling EUR 161.35 million, in favour of 361 Italian enterprises. These funds will support investments in digital and green transition, participation in international trade fairs and events, market entry operations, the recruitment of temporary export managers, and the opening of new e-commerce platforms.

Funding has also been allocated under the “Latin America Facility”, with EUR 3.8 million assigned to 13 projects, and the “Africa Facility”, with EUR 6 million for 10 internationalisation operations. The first applications have also been processed under the new “India Facility”, launched on 16 September, for a total of EUR 10 million.

In terms of export support, two interest rate subsidy contributions have been approved for contracts totalling EUR 1.3 billion in the cruise shipbuilding sector, along with eight operations supporting SME export contracts worth EUR 9.5 million.
