“Les Macchiaioli 1859-1877, des impressionnistes italiens?” is the title of an exhibition running at the Orangerie Museum in Paris from 10 April until 22 July 2013. The aim of the initiative is to introduce one of the most poetic artistic movements of the second half of the 19th century to the French public. The exhibition is supported by the Italian Chamber of Commerce in France, the Italian Cultural Institute in Paris, the Monte dei Paschi di Siena and Intesa San Paolo banks, and Piaggio.
