Signing ceremony of agreements relating to “Tourism of Roots” initiatives
Farnesina, 13 May 2026
On Wednesday 13 May 2026, at 10:00 a.m., the Farnesina will host the signing ceremony of the agreements relating to the “Tourism of Roots” initiatives funded under the Development and Cohesion Fund. The opening remarks will be delivered by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani.
Speeches will also be given by the Adviser to the Vice Presidency of the Council of Ministers for Local Authorities and European Programmes, Carmine De Angelis, and by the Chair of the Monitoring and Evaluation Committee, Raffaele Squitieri. This will be followed by the signing of the agreements by representatives of the four implementing bodies: the Province of Avellino, the Municipality of Fiumicino, the Monti Ausoni and Lago di Fondi Regional Natural Park Authority and Sport e Salute.
Journalists, photographers and cameramen wishing to attend the ceremony are invited to request accreditation by 5:00 p.m. on 12 May, by registering via the following link https://portaleaccreditamento.esteri.it and uploading the required documentation.

Badges must be collected in person at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, main entrance (left side), on Wednesday 13 May, between 09:15 a.m. and 09:45 a.m.
