On 1 September the World Youth Orchestra will perform at Rome’s Parco della Musica Auditorium to promote food security. The event, sponsored by the National Academy of Santa Cecilia, the Italian Permanent Mission to the UN in Rome, the Italian Development Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Province of Rome, FAO, IFAD, WFP and Biodiversity Internationa, anticipates the awareness-raising programmes for “ World Food Day” planned for 16 October.
