Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani will be in Parma tomorrow to attend the 81st Assembly of the Parma Industrialists’ Union (UPI) and meet with the leaders of the Union’s main local companies. After a working luncheon with the business leaders, the Minister will participate in the Assembly works at 5:00 p.m. in the Teatro Regio in Parma, including a discussion with Confindustria President Emanuele Orsini, moderated by Il Sole24Ore Editor-in-Chief Fabio Tamburini.

Emilia-Romagna is one of Europe’s leading agri-food hubs, with a unique concentration of PDO and PGI products. The food and food processing equipment sectors are an international benchmark. The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) is headquartered in Parma, strengthening the city’s international profile in the fields of food safety, research, and innovation.

In his speech, the Minister will reaffirm his appreciation for the work of Italian entrepreneurs and the support provided by the Foreign Ministry and the foreign network for the internationalization of businesses and the promotion of exports.
