The Protocol amending the Agreement between Italy and the Philippines on the conversion of driving licences was signed today at the Farnesina. The agreement was signed, on the Italian side, by the Director-General for Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America, Asia and Oceania, Ambassador Nicoletta Bombardiere, and, on the Philippine side, by the Ambassador of the Philippines to Italy, Nathaniel G. Imperial.
The signing represents a significant achievement in facilitating the mobility and daily lives of Italian and Filipino citizens in their respective countries, and serves as confirmation of the strength of bilateral relations and the deep bonds of friendship between Italy and the Philippines.
