The Facilitation Committee, chaired by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, today approved 630 subsidised finance operations to support the internationalisation of Italian companies, totalling more than EUR 343 million, drawing on resources from Fund 394/81. This is the highest number of operations approved since the beginning of the year, both in terms of the volume of operations and the total value approved. This brings the total amount committed in 2026 to EUR 1.1 billion under the Export Plan promoted by Minister Tajani.

The financing, managed by SIMEST, is intended to support ecological and digital transition projects, participation in international trade fairs and events, expansion into new markets and entry into strategic markets for Italian exports.

The approved initiatives also include 42 financing operations worth EUR 18.6 million to support companies affected by the economic consequences of the crisis in the Strait of Hormuz, as well as support for internationalisation through geographical instruments: the “USA” measure, with EUR 34.8 million approved for 65 initiatives, and measures for Africa and Latin America, totalling EUR 9.7 million.

Finally, significant support for exports is also being provided through credit assumption operations, with 24 new operations and a total value of more than EUR 750 million in contracts awarded to Italian companies receiving support.
