Montevideo: the year of italian culture opens in Uruguay

“Manantiales”, one of the best-known places near Punta del Este, is the perfect setting for Omar Galliani’s exhibition “Notturno”. The artist is one of the greatest representatives of Italian contemporary art and is in Uruguay especially for the opening. The exhibition was organized by the Italian Cultural Institute in Montevideo, in collaboration with curator Massimo Scaringella, and is mounted in the Fundacion Pablo Atchugarry , one of the country’s main cultural and media venues.
