A meeting between the Foreign and Defense Ministers of the Italian Republic and the Russian Federation will take place in Rome on Tuesday 18 February 2020 (the so-called 2 + 2 format).The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Luigi Di Maio, the Minister of Defense Lorenzo Guerini, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov and the Defense Minister of the Russian Federation, Sergey Shoygu will take part in the meeting.
At the end of the meetings, a joint press conference is scheduled at Villa Madama (approximately at 2.00 pm).
Journalists, video operators and photographers interested in covering the event are kindly request to apply for accreditation, no later than 4:00 pm of Monday 17 February, either:
• ONLINE at https://portaleaccreditamento.esteri.it, attaching the required digital documentation (letter by the media organisation to which the reporter belongs and, in the case of representatives of foreign-based media organisations, also a Note issued by the Embassy in Rome of the relevant country);

Accreditation badges must be collected personally at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation – rear entrance, Via Macchia della Farnesina from 12 p.m. and no later than 1:00 p.m
Since Villa Madama is closed to private vehicles, once accredited, journalists will be accompanied to Villa Madama by a shuttle service from Via Macchia della Farnesina (round trip), operating until the end of the event.
