ALTERATIONS TO THE APPOINTMENT PRESS ACCREDITATION NOTICE – Presentation to the Media of the International Conference on the Responsibility of States, Institutions and Individuals in the Fight against Anti-Semitism in the OSCE Area (Farnesina, 26 January 2018)

ALTERATIONS TO THE APPOINTMENT  for the Presentation to the Media of the International Conference on the Responsibility of States, Institutions and Individuals in the Fight against Anti-Semitism in the OSCE Area.Within the framework of Italy’s OSCE Chairmanship, the Minister  of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Angelino Alfano, along with the President of the Italian Union of Jewish Communities, Noemi Di Segni,  will present to the Press the International Conference on the Responsibility of States, Institutions and Individuals in the Fight against Anti-Semitism in the OSCE Area, which will take place on Friday, 26 January at 10:00 a.m. (instead of 23 January).

The Anti-Semitism Conference will take place on 29 January at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in Rome, and will be structured around a Plenary Session and four thematic panels. 

The presentation of the Conference will also feature the ribbon-cutting ceremony of a documentary exhibition curated by the Historic Archive of the MAECI, with contributions by the Yad Vashem Center, Rome’s Museum of the Shoah, Ferrara’s Museum of Italian Hebraism and the Shoah (MEIS), and the Babylonian Talmud Translation Project. 

Journalists, photographers and TV crews interested in following the event are requested to apply for accreditation in one of the following two ways:

–    by filling the interactive form and clicking on the event concerned at the link http://mae.accreditationsystem.info/ITA/Indice.asp, attaching thereto, unless already provided, the documentation requested in digital format (letter from the media organisation and, for representatives of foreign media, also a Note Verbale released by the Rome Embassy of the media organisation’s Country).   

–   by sending an email to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation’s Institutional Press and Communication Service at the following address: accreditamentostampa@esteri.it (Tel. + 39 06/3691.3432 or 8573 or 8210), attaching thereto the letter of his/her media organisation (or press card for freelance reporters) and, for members of the foreign press, a Note Verbale released by the Rome Embassy of the media organisation’s Country.

Accredited journalists, photographers and TV crews may collect their accreditation badges in person at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation,  main entrance – right-hand side –  Visitors Room, from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m.
