On Tuesday, 20 June 2017, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the Farnesina will host the event “Italy, a Country for Travellers – Presentation of the Strategic Plan for Tourism 2017-2022”, co-organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI), the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism (MIBACT) and the Conference of Regions and Autonomous Provinces.
The conference will open with remarks by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Angelino Alfano, followed by contributions by Stefano Bonaccini, President of the Conference of Regions and Autonomous Provinces and Francesco Palumbo, Director General for Tourism of the MIBACT.
Other speakers will also include representatives of Institutions, businesses and the world of academia and culture, including Fabio Maria Lazzerini, a member of the Board of Directors of ENIT. The debate will be moderated by Vincenzo De Luca, Director General for Cultural and Economic Promotion and Innovation of the MAECI.
The event’s closing remarks will be entrusted to the Minister of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism, Dario Franceschini.
